Seven seats, three stack sizes, one table of numbers.
Below 12 big blinds most opening is all-in. This table shows the share of hands our solution book shoves when everyone folds to the seat (8-max tournament with ante). Some seats also raise a small share of hands, so the raise is shown separately:
| Seat | 8 BB all-in | 10 BB all-in | 12 BB all-in | 10 BB raise |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UTG | 16% | 12% | 3% | 5% |
| UTG+1 | 20% | 13% | 5% | 6% |
| LJ | 25% | 18% | 9% | 4% |
| HJ | 31% | 26% | 14% | 2% |
| CO | 35% | 32% | 27% | 1% |
| BTN | 45% | 42% | 30% | 0% |
| SB | 71% | 62% | 51% | 0% |
From the button at 10 BB the book shoves every ace, every king down to K7o, every pair and many suited hands. A few of the hands that shove at least 90% of the time at 10 BB from the button: 88, 87s, 86s, 77, 76s, 75s, 66, 65s, 55, 44, 33, 22.
One short lesson a day, each with a worked example in exact numbers: chips vs. money, the bubble factor, who feels the pressure, payout structures, satellites. No account needed.
In our book 42% (8-max, with ante, everyone folded to the button).
12% of hands in our book.
The small blind can also limp or raise, so only 62% of hands go all-in at 10 BB.
progressGTO guides use our own solution book (v13, 8-max tournaments with ante, chip EV): an approximation of equilibrium with a modelled postflop, not an exact solution. Numbers are computed from the book and from the exact ICM model.
